Families have the choice on where to bring their loved ones for cremation. Prior to cremation, families may hold a farewell service inside the Silas Childs Chapel free of charge. If they wish, families may  observe the cremation of their loved one. Our crematory serves all funeral directors in Central New York. If requested, we can complete the cremation process and have cremains ready for return within 24 hours. Please notify your funeral director that you wish to utilize Forest Hill's Crematory.
